CONFETTI
Confetti is a service that makes the job hunt fun again. Confetti organizes group trips for design students, making it easier and cheaper to check out several companies at once with friends.
We attended Confluence, the Carnegie Mellon job conference for designers, and decided we would expose our process by working through a service design project in one day. We engaged students as they walked by our booth and co-created Confetti in response to specific unmet needs with regard to the job search experience.
Our design themes were: turn logistical problems into assets; student as interviewer, company as prospective employer; create a venue for real conversation.
I conducted research, design synthesis, concept generation, graphic facilitation with student participants, and tied the concept together in a one-page informational PDF. We also documented our experience on our blog.
